Abstract

【課題】第1電極および第2電極を構成する透明電極膜の低抵抗化を図り、光発電特性を向上させることができる色素増感光電変換素子およびその製造方法を提供する。 【解決手段】第1基板22と、第1基板上に配置された第1電極18と、第1電極上に形成され、酸化還元電解質に対する触媒活性を有する触媒層21と、触媒層と接し、酸化還元電解質を溶媒に溶解した電解液14と、電解液に接し、半導体微粒子と色素分子を備える多孔質半導体層12と、多孔質半導体層に配置された第2電極10と、第2電極上に配置された第2基板20と、第1基板と第2基板の間に配置され、電解液を封止する封止材16とを備え、第1電極および第2電極は、第1基板上および第2基板上に塗布されたITO微粒子含有膜の焼結層で構成される。 【選択図】図7
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element and a method of manufacturing the same capable of reducing a resistance of a transparent electrode film configuring first and second electrodes to improve optical power generation characteristics.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element comprises: a first substrate 22; a first electrode 18 disposed on the first substrate; a catalyst layer 21 formed on the first electrode, and having catalyst activity to redox electrolyte; an electrolytic solution 14 contacting with the catalyst layer, and obtained by solving the redox electrolyte in a solvent; a porous semiconductor layer 12 contacting with the electrolytic solution, and having semiconductor fine particles and dye molecules; a second electrode 10 disposed on the porous semiconductor layer; a second substrate 20 disposed on the second electrode; and an encapsulation material 16 disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and encapsulating the electrolytic solution. The first and second electrodes are constituted of a sintered layer of an ITO fine particle containing film applied on the first substrate and on the second substrate.
