Abstract

【課題】貯蔵エリア周辺の放射線量を平均的に低減することで、施設壁の遮蔽厚を小さくすることができる。 【解決手段】容器1の表面における複数の側面1c〜1fの放射線量を線量測定エリア4で測定する工程と、容器1を線量測定値の大きさに応じて倉庫3の貯蔵エリア2内での収納位置と向きを決定する工程とを有し、測定した側面1c〜1fの線量測定値のうち最大線量値に基づいて容器1の貯蔵エリア2内の収納位置が決定される容器1の収納方法を提供する。 【選択図】図3
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shield thickness of a facility wall by averagely decreasing a radiation dose in the periphery of a storage area.SOLUTION: A storage method for radioactive material storage container includes the steps of: measuring radiation doses of a plurality of side faces 1c-1f on the surface of a container 1 at a dose measuring area 4; and determining a storage position and direction of the container 1 within a storage area 2 of a warehouse 3 according to the dimension of the dose measurement values. The storage position of the container 1 within the storage area 2 is determined on the basis of a maximum dose value of the dose measurement values of the measured side faces 1c-1f.
